Hard To Believe

It's hard to believe that 3 months have gone by and I haven't posted anything here.
I spent that time in Dallas, TX taking care of Terry and my mother. Terry is home now recouping from a gastric bypass gone wrong and my mother dislocated her hip during Terry's stay in the hospital. This blog definitely wasn't on my mind while caregiving. Now that I'm back in Warren, I have many things to do to get back in the "home" swing of things. I have put up the Christmas decorations, read months and months of mail, and I'm still going through magazines that have piled up. Today I spent the entire day reading...emails, magazines, and computer web sites. It took me almost an hour to figure out how to get to my blog. If my friend Paula was home, I would call her for help but she is doing caregiving of her own right now. Her Pop is not doing well and she is helping her mother while caring for her dad. Many prayers are going out for you and your family my dear friend.

Yesterday, I talked to my mother and was told that Terry somehow managed to pull her feeding tube out which required another visit to the ER. Her home nurse also told her she had a hernia in her wound. What next? She sees her surgeon today.
